From the past, into the future...

Pittsburgh Family Development

Pittburgh Family Development is a non-profit, community-based agency. This agency was established in 1998 as a home-based information, referral, and resource center. Our prime objective was to support and inform people in crisi on how to acess community-based services.

In 2002 we opened our community resource center known as GIDEON'S PLACE. This was in direct response to the increase in referral needs.

Our Agency is desined to serve as a linkage between consumers and service providers while providing quality services to people in crisis.

Since our inception, we have served over 3500 individuals and families. We currently have six (6) programs that are designed to assist and support families, individuals, youth, and those with disabilities. Allservices are free of charge and non-discriminatory.
